Evade is your chance to avoid an attack in battle. It is a percentage, calculated like so:

  • (Celerity-Armor Penalty)*2 + Luck + Other modifiers = Evade

Armor Penalty is equal to your equipped armor's weight, making low weight armor better for more evasive classes, as it doesn't inhibit their ability to do so.

You can also "evade" spells to lower their damage based on the armor you're wearing.

Unarmored = 30%

Light Armor = 15%

Heavy = 0%
